Includes Free, Individual, and Household Plans
Welcome to Sleep-Save. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Sleep-Save mobile application ("App") operated by Sleep Save LLC ("we," "us," or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using the App — whether on the free plan or a paid subscription — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all versions of the App, including the free Snore Detection feature and the paid Smart Home Integration features available under the Individual and Household plans.
Sleep-Save is an iOS application available on iPhone and Apple Watch that uses your device's microphone and, on paid plans, Apple Watch sensors to detect when you have fallen asleep. Depending on your plan, the App can:
The free plan provides:
The Individual plan ($4.99/month, or the price displayed in the App Store at the time of purchase) includes all free plan features plus:
The Household plan ($12.99/month, or the price displayed in the App Store at the time of purchase) includes all Individual plan features plus:
Note: All prices are subject to change. We will notify you of material price changes in accordance with Apple's rules, and any change will not take effect until you accept it.
The App requires permission to access the microphone on your iPhone and/or Apple Watch. Once you begin a Sleep-Save session, the App continuously listens for audio patterns consistent with snoring.
Sleep-Save is designed with your privacy as a priority:
Even though audio is processed locally, Apple may collect anonymized usage data through the App Store.
By enabling a Sleep-Save session, you expressly consent to the App accessing your device microphone solely for snore detection. You may revoke microphone access at any time through your device's Settings app. Revoking access will disable core App functionality.
If you use Sleep-Save on your Apple Watch, the same microphone access and audio data handling terms apply. On paid plans, Apple Watch may also use motion and heart rate sensors to supplement sleep detection.
On paid plans, Sleep-Save may issue commands to the following categories of devices connected to your smart home ecosystem:
You are responsible for granting permissions in your smart home platform (Apple HomeKit, Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, LG Smart TV, Philips Hue, TP-Link Tapo, etc.), correctly configuring devices in the App, and ensuring compatibility with your integration platform.
This feature is optional. Wake detection is not infallible. The App may fail to detect waking or trigger restoration prematurely. You can always manually trigger or cancel restoration within the App.
Sleep-Save integrates with third-party platforms. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party platform outages or compatibility changes.
By enabling smart home features, you acknowledge that:
The App attempts to pause streaming content when snoring is detected. This depends on compatibility with your streaming apps and devices.
Resume capability is not guaranteed and depends on the streaming service, device, and network conditions.
All pause/resume and smart home features are provided "as-is" with respect to third-party compatibility.
This Section 6 governs all paid subscriptions offered through Sleep-Save. All paid Sleep-Save subscriptions are sold exclusively through the Apple App Store.
Sleep-Save does not create or require a Sleep-Save account, and we do not operate user profiles or servers that hold your data. Your subscription entitlement is tied to the Apple Account you purchase with. Your settings, paired devices, and any credentials you enter are stored only on your device. Some third-party brands you choose to connect (for example TP-Link Tapo) require you to sign in with that brand's own account; those credentials are stored in your device's Keychain and are sent only to that brand.
Sleep-Save currently offers the following auto-renewing subscription plans, billed monthly:
Exact current pricing, currency, and any regional pricing differences are shown in the App Store product listing at the time of purchase and control over the prices stated here.
If we offer a free trial, its length and the price that will apply after the trial ends will be disclosed at the time of purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
You can review, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iOS device, or at apps.apple.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
All purchases are billed and fulfilled by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple — for example, through your Apple ID purchase history or Apple Support — and are subject to Apple's refund policies.
We may change subscription prices from time to time. Any price change will be presented to you through the App Store before it takes effect, and, in accordance with Apple's rules, will not apply until you accept it.
Upgrades take effect immediately, and Apple may charge a prorated amount for the remainder of the current period. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period.
The Household plan is enabled for Apple Family Sharing. One purchase entitles the subscriber and up to five additional members of their Apple Family Sharing group. Sharing is managed entirely by Apple in Settings > [Your Name] > Family; Sleep-Save has no in-app invite flow and no household member management. Each member uses Sleep-Save on their own devices, with their own settings and their own device list; Sleep-Save does not share device state, activity history, or settings between members.
Your purchase and use of a subscription is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Apple standard EULA), available on Apple's website.
You agree to use Sleep-Save only for personal, non-commercial purposes and in compliance with law. You must not:
Any feedback, suggestions, or bug reports you submit become our property. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them to improve the App.
Your privacy is important to us. The Privacy Policy below is incorporated into these Terms by reference and governs how Sleep Save LLC collects, uses, and protects your information. This is the same Privacy Policy published at sleep-save.com/privacy-policy.
If you use Sleep-Save with Apple Watch on a paid plan, the App may access certain HealthKit data (such as motion and heart rate) solely to improve the accuracy of sleep and wake detection.
You may revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in the iOS Health app or in Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as follows:
Sleep-Save does not operate servers that store your personal data. Your settings, paired devices, and preferences are stored only on your device and remain there until you delete the App or use Settings > Privacy > Delete All Data. We do not retain personal data on our own servers.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including local, on-device audio processing.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights, which you can exercise by contacting us at support@sleep-save.com:

Sleep-Save is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.
Smart home platforms, streaming services, and other third-party integrations connected to Sleep-Save are governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last Updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice through the App or by other reasonable means.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT SNORE DETECTION, SLEEP DETECTION, DEVICE CONTROL, OR WAKE DETECTION WILL BE ACCURATE, ERROR-FREE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.
The App is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any sleep disorder. Consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App.
All rights in the App, its software, algorithms, and trademarks belong to Sleep Save LLC. You receive only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App.
We may terminate the license granted by these Terms at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
The App is not available in countries subject to U.S. embargo or sanctions. You represent that you are not located in any such jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms. We will update the "Last Updated" date and, where required, notify you. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
Any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, California administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

Apple, Apple TV and Apple Home are trademarks of Apple Inc. All other product names, logos and brands are the property of their respective owners.
The App shows the names and logos of these brands only to identify the devices and services it can work with, so that you can recognize and set up your own devices. Their use does not mean that Sleep-Save is affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or certified by any of these companies, and none of them is responsible for the App, its features or its support.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use any trademark or logo shown in the App. You may not copy, extract, modify or reuse them, or use them in a way that suggests a connection with or endorsement by their owner.
If you own a trademark shown in the App and object to how it is used, contact us at support@sleep-save.com. We will respond promptly and, where appropriate, remove or change it in a later version of the App.
The App controls devices made by other companies (including televisions, streaming players, smart lights, smart plugs and thermostats) using interfaces those companies provide or that their devices expose on your home network. The devices and platforms the App currently supports are listed on our Supported Devices page, and that list may change from time to time without notice. Support may vary by model, region, software version and your home network setup. Those companies may change or withdraw those interfaces, change their devices’ settings or firmware, or restrict how other apps can control their devices, at any time and without notice to us. As a result, some or all of the App’s features may stop working with a particular device, temporarily or permanently. The App’s ability to control a device depends on that device’s own settings — for example, allowing control by mobile apps, or allowing the device to be turned on over the network — which you are responsible for enabling. Your use of a third-party device or service remains subject to that company’s own terms and privacy policy.
We do not make or sell the devices the App controls and give no warranty about them. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any failure of a third-party device or service to respond to the App, or for any consequence of a device being, or not being, paused, switched off or switched on.
